Romantic guitar in Alaska
February 15th Izhar will give a masterclass and recital in Anchorage, Alaska. Early romantic repertoire played on an original Georg Stauffer guitar from 1820.

Artistic programs with a Story
Izhar develops a wide range of concert programs that explore the guitar in different musical worlds. Historical instruments, chamber music, solo repertoire and multimedia elements come together in programs that tell a story and invite the audience into a unique listening experience.
Bio
Izhar Elias is an internationally acclaimed classical guitarist, known for his poetic playing style and historically informed approach. Through extensive research and performance on original instruments, he brings early music, chamber repertoire and contemporary works to life for audiences worldwide.
Winner of the Dutch Music Prize, Izhar performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, and teaches at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
